Update on How I’m Doing with My Diet Pill

Last year, I mentioned that I was starting a new diet pill to help support my efforts to lose weight and get fitter.  It was in the post about the weight loss challenge I’d started, where I’d set goals for myself at the start of every 30 days and would pay money to charity if I didn’t reach them.  That way, while I’d be motivated to try hard, but even if I didn’t make it, someone would win. I ordered APEX-TX5 to help me along the way. After all, I wanted every chance at succeeding!

My First Impression of the APEX-TX5 Diet Pill

I bought several bottles of APEX-TX5 directly from the Intechra Health website. They’re sold at Amazon and Walmart online too, but I chose the company that makes them because I found that they give you an automatic discount when you buy multiples – which I’d planned to do anyway.

Plus, my order qualified for free shipping and a free bottle of another one of their products, FENFAST 375, which turned out to be a great coincidence. My intention had be to try it and compare it with the one I was using, but then it turned out that Marley needed something new when the regular and the lazy keto diet didn’t work for her back in August. So, she’s been using that one (she’ll update on that soon, I’m sure – take the hint, Marley!).

These diet pills are white tablets with little blue and red speckles. They look like a tiny little confetti party. 🎉 They’re smooth and not too big. Still, I was a bit daunted by their size, because I don’t always find it easy to swallow pills. As it turns out, these aren’t tough to take at all.

Is APEX-TX5 Helping Me Lose Weight?

I really think it is. I have ordered more of it, so it’s definitely good enough that I bought more bottles, if that tells you anything.  I like that the benefits of this diet pill are to make my own efforts easier and more effective. I wasn’t going to go with a pill that pretended that I wouldn’t have to do anything, but I’d still magically get slimmer. I also refused to choose something that promised some ridiculous fast weight loss. I’ve been down that road. It’s either water loss, dangerous, or lies. I’m not going back there. That’s why I spent a lot of time researching before I picked APEX-TX5.

At this point, I realize that I sound a bit like an ad. I just want to confirm that this isn’t an affiliate post. I’m just enthusiastic, and I guess enthusiasm can sound like that sometimes.

The benefits of using this diet pill are supposed to be boosted thermogenesis, getting the most out of fat burning workouts, enhanced focus and alertness, and more energy.

The Good and the Bad of the APEX-TX5 Diet Pill

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started taking this diet pill. I know a lot of people are leery of energy boosting pills because of the risk of jitters and headaches. I didn’t experience any of that. I just feel sharp and ready to take on the day. I’m a regular coffee drinker, and I switched to decaf (though I occasionally make a half decaf and half regular coffee mix). Maybe I have a tolerance to caffeine already because of drinking coffee? Either way, no side effects for me.

So, I definitely appreciated the energy and the alertness and mental sharpness that seemed to go with it. At first, I wasn’t sure if it was the placebo effect, but when it carried me through the holiday season, I knew for sure it was working. If anything was going to bust through a placebo effect, it would be the exhaustion of December!

I have no idea if the thermogenesis benefits and boost to fat burning workouts worked. How would I measure that? I couldn’t think of a somewhat scientific way of figuring that out. But I was powered up for my workouts from the energy, and I seemed to be progressing over time without losing steam, so I guess that’s a pretty good measure right there!

Do I Plan to Keep Using Them?

My goal is to keep using them for a year. I had a lot of extra weight to lose, so it’s not like I’m trying to use these diet pills to support me for 5 pounds in a year.  I’m losing steadily and will likely need to keep going beyond the year to reach my goal. The idea is that I want to keep things steady over time until I reach the goal so that I’ll be all set to keep it off once it’s gone.

I’m not willing to give up baking and eating what I make, so I know that I could be going faster than this, but that’s just not my priority. If I can’t enjoy food, then none of this would be worth it. I’m trying to lose my weight and eat the cake too.

In terms of my weight loss challenge, I give the diet pill a lot of credit for helping me to stay fired up and on track. The only month I ended up paying out some money was in December, and that was only for a span of 5 days that ran from December 24 to 28.  I don’t think a pill made out of magic could have kept me under control during those days. 🤣

Still, I was back on track before the New Year, and I’m continuing with my healthy habits…and my baking! 🧁

Most of Us Think we’re Making Far Better Healthy Food Choices Than We Are

Most of Us Think we’re Making Far Better Healthy Food Choices Than We Are

I like to think that I’m making some healthy food choices, for the most part. I know my diet isn’t perfect. I don’t even aim for perfect. I’d have to give up too much of my favorite treats to get to that point. I don’t even think that focusing too much on nutrition is great for your overall wellbeing. A bit of fun has its place now and then. That said, according to this new study I’ve read, we Americans think we’re doing far better than we are, and it’s really holding us back!

What Exactly is a Calorie Deficit for Weight Loss?

I’d heard about the need for a calorie deficit about a million times before I actually looked into what it was. Now, I understand that the name pretty much explains what it is. I got it on the most basic level. If I wanted to lose weight, I needed to burn more calories than I was taking in. That said, when it comes to putting things into practice, the situation became less obvious to me. I admit that it took freaking forever for me to actually look it up.

Running and Dehydration: A Brutal Combination

Running and Dehydration: A Brutal Combination

Running and dehydration pretty much go hand-in-hand during the summer months. As someone who has taken up running relatively recently and is facing her first summer with the sport, this is very new to me, though not unexpected. That said, as I’ve been researching, I’ve also discovered that the combination, while brutal, isn’t exactly what many of us assume it is, particularly when it comes to difficulty level.
