We were unhappy, exhausted, moody, and feeling extremely deprived of the simple joys that other people were able to indulge in every day. We realized that it wasn’t working and that we needed to find another way. We needed to establish some type of balance in our lives that would allow us to be fit and healthy without having to make so many sacrifices.
Through the years, we’ve encountered a lot of people who have experienced the same frustrations that I have. So we use this blog as a toolto connect with more people and share my helpful tips and insights on how you can achieve the balance that works for you.
It took a bit of trial and error, as well as a reset of our mindsets, to get ourselves to a place where we could look at myself in the mirror and accept ourselves as we are. Rather than being fixated on the number on the scale or the size of my jeans, we started focusing more on how we felt, including the energy we had, how clear-headed we were, and how joyful we felt.
