My Experience with Adipex Diet Pills and Why I Prefer Supplements

by | Oct 31, 2020 | Dieting Tricks | 0 comments

My experience with Adipex diet pills is extremely limited, but I’m asked about it increasingly regularly.  Because of it, I’ve decided to write an entire blog post about what I have an have not gone through with this obesity drug, and why my preference is for supplements instead.

Before I Talk About My Experience with Adipex Diet Pills

Before I get going in describing my experience with Adipex diet pills, I want to preface this whole post by saying that I have nothing against this medication as a part of a healthy obesity treatment.  I know that Adipex results can be extremely helpful when combined with diet changes and increases in exercise.

It is a drug that has helped hundreds of thousands of people to find their doctor prescribed weight loss efforts more achievable, so they could overcome their obesity. In this way, they’ve been helped with reducing their risk of obesity-related illnesses and conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, type 2 diabetes or even the risk of some form of cancer.

Why I Do Not Use This Medication Despite Hearing About Positive Adipex Results

I have never hidden the fact that I’m overweight. In fact, over the last six months, I’d become increasingly overweight before I brought things under control again.  I’m definitely on the higher side of overweight, if you measure it by my BMI.  That said, I’m not obese.  Since I don’t have obesity, my experience with Adipex diet pills has been quite limited.

In fact, it’s been limited to two main events.  The first was in talking to my doctor about it because I was curious to know if I could get it and if it would help me lose weight. I was struggling with weight loss then because – as you know if you’ve been keeping up with my blog for a while – I love to bake, and I love to eat what I make. I hadn’t figured out how to balance that yet. The second was when I saw a website that was promising to sell it without the need for a prescription – a scam, and I didn’t shop from them.

Why I Prefer Supplements

For me, a woman who is overweight but not obese and who is adopting healthy lifestyle changes that I plan to keep up over the long term, over the counter supplements are the option for me. They give me support to make it easier to stick to my efforts and keep them up, so I don’t end up giving in to challenges like fatigue, losing focus, or even a dragging metabolism.

Most of Us Think we’re Making Far Better Healthy Food Choices Than We Are

Most of Us Think we’re Making Far Better Healthy Food Choices Than We Are

I like to think that I’m making some healthy food choices, for the most part. I know my diet isn’t perfect. I don’t even aim for perfect. I’d have to give up too much of my favorite treats to get to that point. I don’t even think that focusing too much on nutrition is great for your overall wellbeing. A bit of fun has its place now and then. That said, according to this new study I’ve read, we Americans think we’re doing far better than we are, and it’s really holding us back!

What Exactly is a Calorie Deficit for Weight Loss?

What Exactly is a Calorie Deficit for Weight Loss?

I’d heard about the need for a calorie deficit about a million times before I actually looked into what it was. Now, I understand that the name pretty much explains what it is. I got it on the most basic level. If I wanted to lose weight, I needed to burn more calories than I was taking in. That said, when it comes to putting things into practice, the situation became less obvious to me. I admit that it took freaking forever for me to actually look it up.

Running and Dehydration: A Brutal Combination

Running and Dehydration: A Brutal Combination

Running and dehydration pretty much go hand-in-hand during the summer months. As someone who has taken up running relatively recently and is facing her first summer with the sport, this is very new to me, though not unexpected. That said, as I’ve been researching, I’ve also discovered that the combination, while brutal, isn’t exactly what many of us assume it is, particularly when it comes to difficulty level.
